Following our first time at Book Fair Australia 2026, presented by Book Addiction, in Melbourne earlier this year as their Bronze Partner, we’re excited to announce that we’re going back to the Book Fair for this year’s Sydney event as well! We had a lot of fun and it felt like a special event as it was the first time that the Book Fair was held in Melbourne, but now it also means we’re even more excited to see what the fair is like in Sydney, where it’s been held every year since 2022.
What is Book Fair Australia?
Book Fair Australia is a celebration of literary stories from all genres. The perfect event for devoted readers, aspiring authors or simply casual readers looking for their next book! Opening at 10am to 4pm, the event will feature dozens of stalls to meet authors from all genres, both traditionally published and self-published. It's the perfect opportunity to not only buy a few books (and get them signed, of course) but explore a variety of bookish merch from local small businesses, attend discussion panels, workshops and more. Book Fair Australia is all about bringing the Australian book community together for an unforgettable experience and connect writers and readers alike.
Visit The FolioFox Reading Nooks
Rather than hosting a booth, this time we’ll be sponsoring the reading nooks at the event. With so much to see throughout the day, it made sense to the BFA team (and to us!) that attendees should also have a comfy spot to relax in and perhaps start digging into their new book.
We’ll be bringing a few cosy reading spaces to the fair for you to do just that, with chairs and a few book samples so you can see what FolioFox has printed if you’re considering printing your own book someday. We won’t just have a few freebies available at these nooks too - Look out for a fun little mystery activity for your chance to win a prize 👀 We won’t say anymore just yet.
